President's Welcome
The Canadian Lithuanian Socety of Edmonton has a rich and proud history, established over 60 years ago. Our founding fathers vision was to create a club environment with appropriate support facilities where established and recently arrived Lithuanians could meet, socialize and preserve Lithuanian Culture and Heritage.
Whether you have newly arrived in our community or wish to learn more about the culture of your ancestors we welcome you to our Society.

Our History
At a meeting on 1953-3-8, Lithuanians living in and around Edmonton decided that they needed a centre for their community’s activities and proposed building their own hall which could also be used for church services. "Lietuvių Namai", as the hall is known in Lithuanian, has been the centre of Edmonton's Lithuanian community's activities since its construction.
